The expression parasit is a collective designation for animal species, those in relation to humans and the culture damage as a carrier of infections, when destroyers of the biomass cause or as a food competitor.

The term depends thus on the value conceptions of the society. The evaluation of the damage happens thereby from purely economic perspective of humans and is no term of biology. However Neobiota than are partly evaluated harmful for ecological systems.
