The member representative meeting represents the counterpart in the cooperative insurance company on mutuality for general meeting in the corporation. It forms the highest agency in the VVaG, whereby the member representative meeting is to be found in particular in larger cooperative insurance companies, against what in smaller associations the Mitgledervollversammlung forms the highest agency.

Tasks are in particular decision over amendments of the by-laws, choice of the supervisory board to decide (if the association of less than 500 coworkers has, otherwise the industrial democracy act applies, according to which a third the supervisory board is to be selected by the employees), decision over the expenditure of benefit rights (with 3/4-majority).
