The invalidity insurance (IV) is a national insurance in Switzerland. All employees (starting from 18 years) and independent ones are obligate contributions to the IV to make, usually about 1,5% of the income.

The user must replace the damage while roughnegligent handling with the aids; and for a request around aids a health expert's assessment must be employed. Aids are renewed at expiration of a certain period (with hearing aids about every 6 years).
