Insurance agent is an occupation for an insurance company is exercised.

The insurance agent lives from the following sources of income:

  • Bestandsprovison (also subsequent commission)
  • Acquisition costs (also firstyear old commission increased)
  • Subsidies, e.g. structure subsidies in the first years or guaranteed subsidies due to a too small customer existence
