An insurance against all risks is a freiwillige insurance for the addition of the legally prescribed Kfz liability insurance. It covers damage, which develops at the own motor vehicle.

The insurance against all risks includes the partial all risks insurance on vehicles. Beyond that still additional achievements are contained in the insurance against all risks:

  • Courage and/or bad-willing damage of the motor vehicle by foreigner
  • Accident damages at the own motor vehicle (also was to blame for)

In contrast to the partial all risks insurance on vehicles the contributions (insurance premiums) depend on the height of the self participation, the type class classification and the damage liberty discount.

With the locking of an insurance against all risks certain obligations accompany.

  • constant obligations:
    • Intended purpose of the motor vehicle must be law conformal
    • unauthorized use of the motor vehicle must be prevented
    • Drive without driving licence leads to payment refusal on the part of the insurance
  • Obligations in the case of loss:
    • Damage announcement to the insurance (within one week)
    • Obligation for the clearing-up of the accident course of events
    • Obligation for damage reduction

Exclusions:

  • rough negligence
