The institution characteristics (short: IK) are clear, nine-place numbers, with whose assistance accounts within the range of the German social security can be completed facility-spreading. Each contracting party of the carriers of the social security, which in the context of the tasks furnish of the ill, pension, accident insurance and the federal agency for work achievements, can request for his part a IK.
