The hut and rolling mill professional association (HWBG) is a commercial professional association and thus carrier of the legal accident insurance. It forms a central administrative body, whose head office is settled in Duesseldorf since 1994 together with mechanical engineering and metal professional association.

The HWBG is responsible for enterprises, which produce iron, steel and non-ferrous metals on warm way, as well as for enterprises, which convert iron, steel and non-ferrous metals to semi-finished material and rolling mill products.
