The German old age pension insurance Braunschweig Hanover is responsible as regional carriers of the German old age pension insurance for large parts of Lower Saxony as legal old age pension insurances. Head office is in Laatzen with Hanover, a second administrative seat gives it in Braunschweig.

With 3.000 employees and officials the German old age pension insurance cares for Braunschweig Hanover more than one million pensioner and two million Versicherte and is thereby the largest regional old age pension insurance of Northern Germany.
