The German BKK is the largest staff sickness fund of Germany also over one million insured.

The German BKK is come out from the staff sickness funds of the enterprises:

• German Telekom
• German post office
• Volkswagen

In addition their seat is wolf castle, a part of the administration sits in Stuttgart. Chairman of the board is Ralf Sjuts.

Since 1 July 2005 the German BKK has a general rate of contribution of 13,4%.
