By damage management or treatment of damage one understands all activities, which with the treatment and completion of cases of damage (damage adjustment) in the insurance economy are connected. The damage management is to be ranked among the operational achievement processes and represents an important component of insurance production. It covers all business processes of the admission of the damage over the review of the position determination up to the disbursement and/or reparations in kind.
